  1. In a medium bowl, add the cake mix, egg, extracts, and melted butter. Mix until combined and the dough forms.
  2. Add in the cream cheese, and mix until combined.
  3. Add in the oreo, chocolate chips, and peppermint pieces and stir gently with a spatula until evenly combined. Stir gently to keep the oreo chunks in tact.
  4. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes
  5. After the dough has chilled, preheat oven to 350 degrees
  6. With a cookie scoop, scoop the batter onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper
  7. Bake for 10 minutes. Once done, pull out of the oven and let them set for 1-2 minutes on the cookie sheet before transferring to a cooling rack.
Recipe Notes

FYI – the cookies will look under cooked after 9-10 minutes, but it’s ok. They will set once removed from the oven.

When you package them in a tupperware, make sure to layer a piece of parchment paper or plastic wrap in between each layer so that they do not stick together.
