Holiday time in a Puerto Rican household calls for…Coquito!

When my fiancé and I started dating, I quickly began to learn about all of the amazing Puerto Rican dishes he grew up eating. During our first Christmas, which came after only a few months of dating, I was introduced to the delicious holiday drink, Coquito! y que rico!

This is Christmas in a cup!

There are many different ways to make Coquito, and over the past couple years, I’ve made it a few different ways depending on which family member shared their recipe, so here is one version that is oh so yummy!

In your blender:
1 can evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
1 can cream of coconut
1 cup white PR rum
1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon vanilla

Blend all together for a few minutes, then pour into glass bottles…serve & garnish with a dash of cinnamon!

Happy Holidays!
