Ma’s Cinnamon Jumbles!

These delicious pillow-like cookies were one of my absolute favorite cookies that my Mom made growing up!

They are cake-like, moist, and the cinnamon sugar dusted on top…perfection!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and place a sheet of parchment paper on your baking sheet

Ready, set, cookies!

Cream together:
3/4 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs

The add in:
1 1/8 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Then sift in & mix:
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt

Then take two teaspoons and scoop up a spoonful of batter, and then use the second spoon to drop the batter on the sheet.

Once done, mix together a tablespoon of cinnamon and a 1/2 cup of sugar and generously dust each cookie! don’t be shy because the mixture will partially absorb into the cookie during baking

    Omg, my tastebuds vividly remember these cookies.
    Or some sort of variation.
    You forgot to mention these have crack in them.
    Hah kidding! But they are super addicting.
